The exhibition by Ryusuke Ito, an artist who mainly produces films and video installations on the theme of film’s materiality as a medium and video’s characteristics as communication media, is held from Saturday, September 26 prior to the opening of the Festival. The exhibition focuses on the video installation series“ Realistic Virtuality,” at which shaped articles like miniatures of a special effects film set are shot live with a CCD camera and the video is shown at the same time with projection.
