Theo Jansen is a Dutch artist known for his series of works featuring Strandbeest, which runs by itself using wind power. Animaris Siamesis, one of his largest works, is exhibited in the plaza in front of the Kyoto City offices. During the exhibition period, a performance “ The Beest will move with the power of the audience！” is to be held each day, featuring mainly Yoshimoto’s performers.
