Fatty Arbuckle and Buster Keaton -The Roots of Comedy Film
©画像・作品提供: 喜劇映画研究会
Notes
Buster Keaton, one of the three comedy greats along with Chaplin and Loyd, is known as “The Great Stone Face”. It was Roscoe Conkling “Fatty” Arbuckle, who mentored and discovered Keaton. This program features three uproariously funny shorts including Keaton’s screen debut. Along with perilous physical comedy, the perfect harmony of Keaton and Fatty is the true origin of comedic cinema. Enjoy!
